Q.What system requirements do I need to run this Web site?

The minimum system requirements to run freshisland.com are:

Q.What is the freshislandfish.com website used for?

We have collected product and industry information over the past 27 years and have made this information available to our customers online at freshislandfish.com. Here you will find product information, seasonal information, online ordering options, past invoices, and the ability to monitor your food costs using our exclusive Food Cost Maintenance program.

Q. Can I use the site without registering?

The information reachable from the top and left margin is accessable for unregistered users. Thus you can get information about our Company, Hawaii Seafood Products, recent Press, and many amazing Recipes from Hawaii’s most renowned Chefs. For our registered users, we offer specific Product Details, access to past Invoices, and our exclusive online Food Cost Reporting system .

Q. Why should I register?

Registration is absolutely free and only a registered user will be able to utilize all the facilities on the site. You may place your orders online, check past invoices, monitor your food costs, and much more only if you are a registered user.

Similarly, your purchase history details are captured and used to generate our exclusive Food Cost Maintenance program. This program is available to registered users only and appears in the left margin once you are logged in as ‘Reports’. For more details, refer the section on "Managing My Account".

Q. How do I sign up to be a Registered User?

Just click on "Sign up Now" in the left margin on your screen and follow the instructions carefully. Be sure to give a reachable email address as we will send your username and password to the email address registered with us.

Q. Is registering free of charge?

Yes. Registering with www.freshislandfish.com is absolutely free.

Q.How does a registered user log in?

Enter your username and password then click on the "Login" button in the Member Login box.

Q.What do I do if I forget my Password?

Go to the Help menu and click on "Forgot Password?" which appears in the left margin. We will send you your password to the email address you registered with the site. This is to avoid unauthorized usage of your Account.

Q.Why does nothing happen when I sign in? When I sign in to freshislandfish.com, the screen flashes, and then returns to the Sign In page.

This problem can be caused by one of the following:

  • Your Member ID or password is typed in incorrectly. Make sure your CAPS ON button is not turned on.
  • Check to be sure you’ve spelled your Member ID and password correctly. If you’ve forgotten either or both, you can use email us at info@freshislandfish.com to get the information you need.
  • Some browsers do not support secure sign in. If you are using a proxy server to access the Internet, the proxy server may not support secure sign in. (In other words, if you are not directly connected to the Internet and are going through a gateway or firewall, you may not be able to use secure sign in.) Try signing in again, but this time click the without a secure connection link.
  • To avoid problems, it is recommended that you use the most current version of your preferred browser.

  • Account Info – After you have logged in, you will see "My Account" in the left margin. Click on it to reach the page offering you various options as given below:

  • Allows you to view our exclusive Food Cost Maintenance Reports and past invoices.
  • To view reports click in the left margin on the week to date, month to date, or year to date option and wait a minute for the data to appear. These reports are generated from actual purchases and are calculated real time.

Your right to privacy and protection of your personal information is of concern to us. Your personal information will be used only to contact you. It will not be given to any third parties.

Q.What is a "cookie" and what should I do about cookie warnings?
